Hugger

I am noticing more often in my disappointment in how little people hug anymore.  It may have been how I was raised but I find it extremely difficult to truly thank someone without giving them a hug...and vice versa.  I am a hugger and that is fact.  There is no other socially acceptable way to be closer to someone than through a hug.  There is probably a whole slew of psychological reasons why I prefer hugs over handshakes but that would take way too long to distinguish right now.  To me, family members should hug and close friends should hug.  I would be totally fine though if some stranger were to walk up and give me a hug...as long as their hygiene is not threatening to the nose.
